Skagit PUD Commissioner's job is to make sure the PUD works with the farmers, families, businesses, and cities it serves, to ensure the PUD works for you. That takes experience advocating and negotiating: never polarizing or divisive, never isolated or disconnected from the rest of Skagit County, but engaged and representative of YOUR needs.
What you need in the next PUD Commissioner is an experienced advocate who will effectively PARTNER with you, the PUD, and city and county leaders to negotiate DOWN water rates, defend Skagit water from special interests like data centers, give farmers a real voice on water policy, and ensure there’s water at every fire hydrant in Skagit County.
That’s the experience I bring.
I grew up on a Skagit County farm and studied Agriculture and Business, so I have decades of experience understanding what farmers are up against and defending and advocating on their behalf.
As a real estate broker for 12 years, I’ve brought hundreds of buyers and sellers of different backgrounds and expectations together to reach agreements that are fair for all.
I’ve served on the boards of Camp Fire Samish, the North Puget Sound Association of Realtors, and Skagit Rotary, where I represented their mission and vision effectively across the county.
That’s why Commissioners Ron Wesen and Peter Browning, the Democratic Party, and more than 70 Skagit community leaders (and growing) have put their names behind my campaign.
The PUD’s hardest decisions are ahead of us. I’ll bring people together to make them.
